Publications


The Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority produces a range of publications.

Free publications

These include:

  • Publications to meet the statutory requirements as set out by Government legislation and other operations documents that the Authority uses to plan, deliver and review its services, for example: National Park Management Plan, Best Value Performance Plan, State of the Park Report and our Biodiversity Action Plan.
  • Educational resources
  • Planning reports and guidance materials
  • Promotional leaflets and booklets

Publications for sale

The Authority also sells a range of publications through its online shop and the National Park Centres.  For details of the publications available click the link in the menu.

Publication Scheme

In accordance with the Freedom of Information Act (2000) the Authority produces a Publication Scheme which details what information the Authority currently holds that is publicly available.

The Authority believes that all recorded material that it holds should be publicly available, unless clear reasons can be given for withholding it, eg. protecting privacy, copyright, commerical sensitivity etc.
