A date with nature - Peregrine falcons at Malham Cove
The peregrine falcon is one of the most impressive birds of prey in the country and we are very fortunate that they have nested at Malham Cove in the Yorkshire Dales National Park since 1993.
The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) and the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority (YDNPA) run a viewpoint so that you can see these wonderful birds along with many other birds that are characteristic of this upland area.
It's all part of the RSPB's 'A date with nature' project that gives people chance to get close to birds. So why not find out more by exploring these pages and make your date with nature?
Come and see us and the peregrines!
All the information you will need to get to the peregrine falcon viewpoint - where it is, how to get to Malham Cove, what to expect and much, much more.
